my kids would love it!!!

my then 16 year old son bought one of the original ipods (it lasted very well despite the much-publicized battery problem (always buy the extended service plan at best buy, it's worth it X2)). even though it eventually succumbed to battery failure, BB replaced it in less than 5 minutes!!! although the new wheel was less user friendly he enjoys it still today!

i bought 2 shuffles the day they came out: one for the wife and one for my daughter. just about 3 weeks ago my daughter complained about the shuffle cutting in & out. i figured it had more to do with friends sporting nanos than it did with the shuffle as i used it for a day without any problems. one call to BB's service provider and they were to send a return label which never came. a follow up call had the gentleman who answered apologize and promise instead of just a mailing label he'd send a gift card in the amount and to simply donate the ipod shuffle to charity (i kid you not those were his exact words!!!).

well, the gift card just arrived tuesday and the value on the card was over $300! ooops!

just to maintain a clear conscience i called BB service and told the of the mistake. the lady was surprised that anyone would call to say they sent TOO much and suggested we just use the card and consider it a done deal.

i can't say enough good things about apple or best buy.

needless to say part of the $300 bought a nano which my teenage daughter is in love with.

there's over $120 left on the gift card too!

sure, i'd try an apple phone (provided i can buy the extended warranty).

I think I would. It has to be better designed than the regular cell phones out now... I've about had it with mine, and yes, there are less gadgets to carry around....
