It'll be a typical sitcom with typical bad acting, stupid plot, and cheesy jokes-- I see it already.

Interesting. Not sure how much faith I have in network opinion of quality after everyone let "Arrested Development" die. Maybe *they* should have posted on YouTube. Any bets on how many views an unaired "Arrested Development" episode would have gotten?

i may need to revisit my opinion on the future of youtube. even though i don't see a model in which there is money to be made (legally) from someone else's content, nbc's recent buyout of ivillage makes me think they aren't too concerned with making big dollar mistakes.

Do you think NBC looked at the signifigant drop-off in viewers for parts 2 and 3? Sure, it makes about 300,000 teenagers and college students feel really special that they helped "save" a program. But NBC better hope that those 300,000 turn into about a dozen or two million people and that they feel good enough about the program to see the entire show.
