Still tweaking the new Lost Remote

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I’ve added a new section across the top of the home page. The idea is to display a top story that’s stands out and is independent of chronological order. One of my frustrations with blogging is the fact big stories get pushed quickly beneath the fold, and this is my initial attempt at bridging the best of both worlds. Also, I’ve displayed a handful of Drudge-style links to 1) some of the most interesting stories lower in the blog and 2) stories that are worth a link but not a blog post. Elsewhere on Lost Remote, I’ve listened to your feedback and increased the font sizes and added some “bold” in the headlines. I’m still tweaking, but I hope you dig the changes so far.

I hope you are going to continue publishing the neilsen ratings for the past week in pdf format? I really liked the presentation. Thank you for a great site.

I really liked the old site much better. You had a good thing. This site feels almost dare I say “corporate” and just feels like a big old template. The old site had personality and I liked the old logo better too. Sorry!
