Job Description:

• Responsible for producing and managing the CBS News Early Show web site.
• This person will work with their television counterparts to determine how to extend the broadcast’s brand and content onto the web on a daily basis.
• Responsible for determining which stories are produced for the web, and for finding new, interesting, and innovative ways to tell the story to the Internet audience.
• Responsible for conceptualization, planning and execution of web components for major Early Show programming initiatives, such as contents and series.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Minimum five years experience in Internet, broadcast, or print journalism.
• Experience in both television and Internet journalism.
• Must have working knowledge of still photo, video, audio, and story production, including simple HTML skills.
• Excellent writing and editing skills a must.
