WordPress growing fast

I flipped from Blogger to WordPress about 2 years ago (when I wanted to take the training wheels off so to speak). I’ve never been happier. I use MovableType for work - and long for WP.
As I’m sure Cory is learning, the open source nature of WordPress makes it stable, reliable — and best of all - it’s one hell of a spam fighter.

I’m stunned at its spam capabilities (Akismet) — just that alone is worth the switch.
And want a new feature? Just Google it. It took me just a few minutes to install that AJAX-powered comments function (expand comments). All for free. Nifty.

It’s amazing. LR has gone from Blogger to MT to WP. Any of the previous software companies could have kept our business, but they fell behind the competition. Each reached their own level of comfort while the upstarts moved in with better technologies.
Thus summing up convergence of the last 10 years neatly.
