Online Content Manager

Do you have local television news experience on the assignment desk, as a reporter or producer? Do you have web experience? Are you ready for a new challenge? Are you bored? Do you like the beach? If you answered yes to any of these Media General, Inc. has an immediate opening for a smart, hardworking, entrepreneurial and strong manager to join us as an Online Content Manager. This person will work with the Regional Interactive General Manager to manage content on scnow.com, the online portal in the Myrtle Beach/Florence, South Carolina market for WBTW News 13 (CBS) and the (Florence) Morning News.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Online content management
Partner convergence
New project creative development
Website content updates
Partner marketing development and administration

About you - Candidates for the position should have the following qualifications:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferable
At least 4 years Internet experience
Strong people management skills (this is must)
Technical background
Superior oral and written communication skills
