Fox station sites streaming network shows
Cory Bergman August 15th, 2006
As promised, Fox’s owned-and-operated station sites are beginning to stream entire episodes of Prison Break and Bones for free. It’s part of the relaunch of the O&O sites under the MyFox brand. I attempted to watch Prison Break on MyFoxNY — sponsored by Toyota — but I was blocked because “the viewing is limited to specific geographic locations based on participating stations.” Interesting. (Thanks, Rocker!)

Hi,
I can play videos on MyFoxNy even though I am in PA.
So, I assume you can watch a video on any MyFox site as long as you are in the US.
Now, I’d like to know whether
1). every Myfox site offers the same shows
2). you can play a video on any MyFox once you have Fox Full Throttle Player installed on your browser or you have to install its own Fox Full Throttel Player for each MyFox.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I found this service is available at MyFoxny.com, MyFoxla.com, MyFoxboston.com, MyFoxdfw.com, MyFoxdc.com, MyFoxal.com and MyFoxwghp.com (Add “streaming.” to ahead of these addresses).
Every site offers the same shows. (”Prison Break”, “Bones”, “the Loop”, “Stacked” and “American Dad”)
You can play videos on any of these website once you install Fox Full Throttle Player.
This service pretty much the same as ABC Full Streaming Service.

It’s available to you from any beta O&O website - as long as you access the site from within a market where the FOX station is owned by FOX (LA, Dallas, Boston, NY, Washington, Austin, Chicago, Greensboro, Atlanta, Philadelphia, St. Louis, K.C., Denver, Memphis, Cleveland…to name a few).

I get this:
“We’re sorry, but only Microsoft Windows 98SE or later is supported at this time. Please check back soon for support for other operating systems.”

I always find it amusing when people complain because they fit inside the 5% group. This / that doesnt work, well, quit running FreeBSD & Firefox or whatever crazy variation you have. Not that I should really be complaining because I run various operating systems and browsers but I understand when something (free) doesnt work properly. The fact is, not everything is going to work for everyone all of the time and spending 20% + more time on something for those extra few people is rarely worth while. Sorry about the rant, but I have a case of the Monday’s, on Wednesday no less.

Web Companies Talk It Up At Digital Hollywood…
Techcrunch has a post highlighting several startups pitching themselves at the San Jose Digital Hollywood forum. Most were, of course, related to online video, but in looking at the linup as describe, I was struck that everybody was doing something……

I wish windows only had a 5% market share; but I was referring to the post saying he needed Win89se or above. The other thing is that this is limited to geographical regions, which is not all the difficult to circumvent.

[...] Earlier this week we reported that Fox has begun streaming selected primetime shows on nine of its “beta” owned-and-operated station sites, and now there’s word that Fox is also offering the same service to all of the network’s affiliates. (Oh, and yes, that’s the word “EXCLUSIVE!” on today’s Broadcasting and Cable story that we had on Tuesday.) [...]

Just put in any address in the box as it coresponds to that market and you can install the plugin .IP adresses and geolocation tolls are often not correct .

I THINK ITS TERRIBLE ABOUT THE MURDER OF YOUNG SEAN BELL, OUR YOUNG BLACK MEN DO NOT STAND A CHANCE IN THESE STREETS., MY NEPHEWS WHO ARE 15 & 19 ARE CONSTANTLY STOPPED IN THE STREETS ,POLICE ASKING FOR ID OR ASKING WHERE THEY ARE GOING, IM AFRAID FOR THEM TO GO OUTSIDE,BUT I REFUSE TO ALLOW THE POLICE DEPT TO MAKE HERMIT OF OUR CHILDREN AS IF THE ARE NOT IN ENOUGH DANGER AS IT IS, THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO RELY ON THE POLICE, NOT HAVE TO RESENT OR BE AFRAID OF THEM, THAT WHY WE PAY TAXES AND VOTE ,,FOR PROTECTION AND RESPECT ,NOT MURDER AND HARRASSMENT SOMETHING MUST BE DONE;’,

In response to the rebel flag on a licenses plate. Once again the groups opposed are uneducated, they think it is a hate symbol.. Be mad at the groups that use it as a hate symbol because they are just as uneducated as you are. The rebel flag represents the 13 original colonies that rebeled against England. We lived under the articles of Confereration until it was replaced by the the Constitution. When the civil war broke out the South adopted the flag to rebel against the North. The War did not start because of slavery. This only became an issue When Abraham Lincoln wrote the emanicapation Proclamation after the war had been going on a few years. He did so to weaken the south. A large amount of Northern troops deserted because they did not want to fight a war when this issue was brought up. The war had been going on for 2 years before this proclamination was written. So the war was not started to free the slaves. Those same groups need to realize that the African slave trade started around 600 A.D. The Muslims invaded North Africa (Saraha Desert) to spread Islam and were the first to purchase Black slaves from the BLACK TRIBES THAT CAPTURED THEM. THEY WERE NOT CAPTURED BY WHITES. APPROXIMATELY 900 YEARS LATER WHITE TRADERS BEGAN TO PURCHASE SLAVES FROM THE BLACKS WHO CAPTURED THEM. They were shipped off to the new world. The bottom line is slavery is not a civil war issue, it became one 2 years after it started. The Black slave trade was started by Blacks and Arabs not whites. People need to be historically correct instead of politically correct. The rebel flag has had its history distorted for too long. It is apart of history get over it and get it correct.

I think you are distorting some part of your comment. I agree Slave trade was not started by Whites alone, White were also part of the trade. There is absolutely no connection between slavery and the arrival of Islam in Africa. There is distortion in your comment, you said Muslims invaded North Africa, no, Muslims came to Ethiopia and was welcomed by Christians as brothers by the king there. There is not history of major wars going on between Muslims/Arabs and Africans. Islam made it a good deed to free a slave. So I don’t think there is any connection between Islam and Slavery there. You are right, Lincoln made that proclamation 2 years into the war, and the civil war was not just about slavery alone. However, now a days the very symbol you are referring to is used by many as a hate symbol and seen as a hate symbol after the civil rights movement in the 50s and 60s. So I think it is time to leave all these historical hatred and move towards understanding each other and respecting others beliefs that distorting history with fabricated evidence that will only create more violence, chaos and trouble in the society.
