MSN streaming ‘Weeds’ season premiere

If you missed the Weeds season premiere on Showtime, you can watch it in its entirety on MSN Video — but this week only. It’s yet another TV offering on MSN Video, which recently signed a deal to stream all 53 episodes of Arrested Development later this year.

Wouldn’t it be nice if MSN allowed MAC users to view the video as well. Interesting how Apple thinks to make iPods and iTunes Videos viewable for Windoes users, but MSN could care less about MAC users.

So a friend of mine is an actor on this show. (Excuse the name-droppy nature of that — he dated my roommate when I lived in Minneapolis, while he was performing a long stint at the big regional theater there.) And he (Justin Kirk who plays the character Andy Botwin) is naked in the first five minutes of this season — but only on Showtime. Not on MSN.
Interesting.

Microsoft playing friendly? That would be a first. While we’re at getting Mac support you think you could add GNU/Linux support to the list? I refuse to go Microsoft for my video content. If they want me to watch adds, or pay for content give it to me in a platform neutral choice without DRM. Until then, torrents, p2p, or straight downloads will do for me.

Ah, the wonderful power of Sea Monkey! If you are a mac user- just use Sea Monkey as your browser and you will be able to watch video on MSN video! WEEDS!

The video works fine on my Mac…Tiger on G4 PPC. Maybe you need Flip 4 Mac?
