Most buzzed about new TV shows

Cory Bergman August 17th, 2006

For the last three years, Interpublic Media has been putting out “PropheSee reports” that measure the internet buzz for new fall TV shows before they premiere. This year the top five are: Heroes (NBC), Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC), Vanished (Fox), 30 Rock (NBC) and Friday Night Lights (NBC). That’s right, NBC has four of the top five.

Woot woot. Go NBC… we need our 10pm lead in back!

Buzz is great but the shows have to have the quality to back it up beyond the pilots and promos. Windfall anyone?

You know that a few of these are going to drop horribly. My guess? Friday NIght Lights and 30 Rock do not do so well. Vanished will rope in its share of viewers and heroes looks like it is just a great story. Studio 60 is so-so, IMO…
