The Web site for 1010 WINS, New York City’s all-news station, is
looking for a Senior Web Producer. Duties will include, but are not
limited to: producing hourly news material for the Web site,
including story selection, coordinating stories with station editors,
AP Style writing, editing audio and video and digital photographs,
conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas; improving site
layout and usability, managing user-generated content, assist with
scheduling, attend newsroom and station meetings, coordinate
hyper-local news Web content and work with Web site host to build new
features and dynamic pages. The Senior Web Producer will cover a daily
shift and breaking news as needed and must be willing to work flexible
hours and off-hours.

Qualifications: college degree and online news experience, Photoshop,
HTML skills, experience in print or with other online news Web sites
is required. Additional Web production skills are preferred. Applicants
must be strong writers and able to work under tight deadlines.
Successful writing test is mandatory. Position will report to Managing
Editor, 1010wins.com.
