Tracy Morgan in an NBC promo for the new show, 30 Rock, that aired during Sunday Night Football: “Before I do the show I have some demands that have to be met. I want Monday Night Football to be played on Sunday where it’s supposed to be. I want Katie Couric off the network. And I want all the black people on Deal or No Deal to win.”

I was watching with my family — and my sister, mother and father all laughed. Very creative — and I’m impressed NBC would actually break the fourth wall.

It is very offensive to hear Tracy Morgan comment “I want all the black people on Deal or No Deal to win”. If a caucasian made that comment every black would be offended, the NAACP would demand an immediate apology from NBC and want Tracy Morgan removed from their line up for making such a racist remark. It’s obvious that the divide between blacks and whites will continue especially since they can get away with comments like that with no repercussion. If whites attempted to put out a United Caucasian College Fund commercial there would be rioting ang looting in major cities. Whites simply sit back and say and do nothing. As for NBC should be called on the carpet for allowing the venue for any racial comment of that or any nature like that to be perpetuated.

I am a black person that was on Deal and won FIVE dollars so I pray that Tracy Morgan’s wish come true lol.
Honestly, I don’t think he was being a racist so don’t take that wrong. We don’t need another blog about racism on the internet.
NBC is a great network and Deal or NO Deal is my favorite show. Keep this positive.
