Fox News Channel DC Bureau Seeks Freelance TD’s, Deko Operators, Intake Operators

Position: Freelance Technical Director

Experience:

Three to five years experience as a TD. Knowledge of switchers, DVE’s, still store devices, and DNF-profiles necessary. Knowledge of Phillips switcher is a plus. Must have excellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment. Must be flexible with their schedule, able to work weekends and any shift in a 24-hour time period and breaking news environment.

Position: Freelance Deko Operator

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Fox News Channel seeks a Freelance Deko Operator. Minimum of 2-3 years experience required. Live control room and playback experience is a must. Candidates must be responsible, be able to work well under pressure, have good communication skills, take direction, and be flexible with their work schedule in order to adapt to a 24-hour news organization.

Position: Freelance Intake Operator

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Fox News Channel seeks a Freelance Intake Operator. At least three years experience in television operations necessary. Individual must have a solid working knowledge of digital video recorders, fundamental knowledge of satellite traffic and strong computer skills. Candidate must be organized, work well in a team setting, have the ability to juggle multiple duties and tasks and be able to identify / trouble shoot audio and video problems with satellite, microwave and vyvx transmissions transmission. Must be able to work weekends, overnights and early morning shifts.
