MORNING GRAPHICS DESIGNER

KPTV FOX-12/KPDX UPN-49 is seeking a MORNING GRAPHICS DESIGNER. Responsible for creating, organizing and accurately displaying news graphics for 10pm and 11pm newscast. Graphics will include maps, full screens, over the shoulder graphics, etc. for all late news live newscasts. Create animated graphics packages for news and promotion. Other projects as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Creating graphics for daily newscasts.
Creating graphics and animation packages for news and promotion special projects.
Education/Experience: BA Degree in communications. Qualified candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a graphic designer for a broadcasting station. Must know the following software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent project management skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, and Avid.
