There is no way this gets broadcast for that long otherwise. Phillips should be scolded for not turning it off. Every wireless mic I used has the switch there and no matter what, if it's off, it's off. Anyone care to guess how many tech people who are jealous or absolutely hate on-air talent have done this? I've had tech people deliberately switch off the camera I was on to messing with the prompter's resolution, and some other things. Since they tend to be in a little clan, management just ranted at me, not them, the one who were not doing their job correctly or professionally.
