CBS to promote ‘The Class’ on Classmates.com
Cory Bergman September 7th, 2006
CBS’ upcoming show The Class is about a group of former grade school kids who reconnect when they’re in their 20s. So what better way to promote it online than team up with Classmates.com, a site that reconnects people with old classmates. Each show’s character will have its own page (with video), which in turn allows Classmates.com users to add them as friends. Nifty.

As I am with the US military stationed overseas, I did not get to see The Class until months after it originally aired stateside. I was hooked on this show after the first episode! What a GREAT show! Extremely funny. Super idea for linking the cast together and give them a common bond. By the time the 3rd episode aired here, everyone I knew was watching it. We were gathering at peoples’ houses to enjoy the show together. No other show since Friends has held so much promise for being a truly funny, laugh-out-loud show that the whole family could enjoy!
When someone first told me that CBS cancelled the show, I simply did not believe it!. When I found out it was true, I was shocked! Who could be that stupid? Surely there would not be any problem finding sponsors for such a fabulous hit! Everhone I know, and that’s a lot of people, want The Class back on the air!!! Hopefully, one of the other big networks will revive The Class–screw CBS!
