She’s Jessica Rose, a 20-ish year old graduate of the New York Film Academy (she’s not 15, so you guys can feel OK about, well, you know). Her producers are Ramesh Flinders, a screenwriter and filmmaker from Marin County, Calif., and Miles Beckett, a doctor turned filmmaker. The lonelygirl15 videos were shot in Flinder’s bedroom, of all places, using a $150 Logitech webcam. The mystery is over, folks…

if you recall i held off on a prediction as i had initially called the rocketboom split a hoax.
judging by the trend (see alexaholic in a 3 month format)headrocketboomer drew may also now wish it were one too.

I watched my first video of this lonely girl stuff today and after a 1 minute of it I could have told you this was scripted and faked.

I actually think I was the first person on the entire internet calling it a hoax (I was watching from episode #2, you poseur hanger-ons), but I still love-love-loved it. And discovering the star is actually 19 instead of 15 makes me feel significantly less creepy.
