NEWS OPERATIONS/Videographer Supervisor.

This position will be required to work in the field as a news photographer and lead a team disciplines within the news group. Will work with our Engineering department to maintain equipment, vehicles, and computers. Develop relationships and negotiate with vendors. Work within a budget and screen invoices for accuracy. Create & maintain systems to maximize newsgathering and field communications. Responsible for clear and consistent feedback and employee reviews. Must have at least 5 years experience as a photographer and at least 2 years experience managing a diverse group of news-related staff positions. Must be flexible, able to stay abreast of and support new emerging technologies in the broadcast industry. Must possess excellent verbal and written skills, be a self starter, demonstrate the ability to motivate and create a positive working environment. Must possess strong computer skills in various news systems such as ENPS, desktop editing, email and other applications.
