Watched last night in LA on Channel 4, where it originally aired in the 60s(funny seeing CBS/Paramount at the end). I remember being besde myself when it was canceled. Beautiful film transfer, film dirt removed and replaced space model shots are subtle, indentical and don't look out of place. Really first rate and worth the watch (maybe my 43rd viewing).

I know this is off-topic for this post, but how come we have heard nothing about the Nintendo Wii annoucement this week?

I remember reading all about the Xbox 360 here. The Wii is launching with a broad range of titles within the launch window and arguably a revolutionary new controller and new approaches to the gaming experience and... nothing? Longtime viewser a little disappointed.

Gilligan's Island in HD would finally prove once and for all that Mary Ann was the prettier girl.

It's looking pretty good in the previews, can't wait! Seems like they're trying to do what Lucas did to Star Wars, too. We're not getting it in HD here in Phoenix as far as I can tell, if anyone does get to see it in HD, please post your impressions of how clean it looked...if this turns out well, I wonder if we'll see Gilligan's Island in HD next. Scary.
