Sirius denies Howard Stern rumors

The NY Post ran a story that reported on rumors that a deal is brewing between Sirius and Citadel Broadcasting to return Howard Stern to traditional radio airwaves. But Sirius is denying the report. “There has never been any discussion of Howard Stern in any way, shape, or form being anything but exclusive to Sirius. Published reports suggesting otherwise are wrong,” said Sirius spokesman Patrick Reilly. (Thanks, JIB!)

God, anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the history between Stern and Citadel (particularly owner Farid) knew this story was bravo sierra the minute everyone breathlessly reported it.
In other words, it was reported without any kind of verification or research.

Howard can’t stand NOT being talked about. The only way he can continue being talked about is in conjunction with terrestrial radio. He’s loving every minute of this.
