Report: ABCNews.com revealed Foley accuser ID

Drudge is splashing the story that ABCNews.com briefly revealed the screen name of Rep. Mark Foley’s accuser in an instant messaging exchange. According to Drudge, ABCNews.com responded in a statement, “We go to great lengths to prevent the names of alleged sex crime victims from being revealed. On Friday there was a very brief technical glitch on our site which was overridden immediately. It is possible that during that very brief interval a screen name could have been captured. Reviews of the site since then show no unredacted screen names.”

Of course Fox News Channel would never make this kinda mistake.
I’ll bet that the ABC producers were either drunk or hungover.

You’re joking, right? There was a recent story showing Fox had identified Foley as a Democrat on their Chyron lower thirds. I doubt they bothered to even admit their mistake.

Yes, I was joking. I saw that Foley (D) screenshot and was really laughing. I bet the Kos kids went ape over that mishap.
PS. But I stand by the drunk/hangover part, I party with liberals all the time and they are mostly lushes. Of course when the tab comes, they dont have any money…
