Positions main purpose is to generate and grow internet and
interactive media revenue by selling WNEM.COM — and other WNEM
advertising platforms — with sponsorships, promotions, and overall
marketing campaigns to new and existing accounts. Position also
requires establishing, maintaining, and developing positive client
relationships, as well as creating good working synergies with
station personnel. This is an outside sales job in a fast paced
rapidly changing environment that requires achieving monthly forecast
and revenue goals. Minimum qualifications: 4 year College Degree or
Equivalent work experience in Sales/Marketing. Minimum 2 years in
Sales background preferable in advertising and marketing sales.
Specific knowledge:

In depth knowledge of the Internet. Computer skills utilizing
Microsoft including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Skills and
Abilities: Requires a self-motivated individual, who is capable of
setting new standards in advertising and marketing sales. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation
skills, a must. Ability to maintain positive relationships with
station clients, the public and other station personnel. Ability to
organize and prioritize work activities and tasks handling multiple
assignments while meeting “tight” deadlines in an environment
subject to constant change and interruptions.
