Sales Promo/Research Director: Full-time/exempt/non-union position. Assists General Sales Manager in managing, developing and implementing sales promotion programs and initiatives to maximize station profits and community marketing benefits. Duties include creating a variety of promotional opportunities and non-traditional sponsorships in conjunction with on-air advertisers and station partners; producing Power Point presentations and other creative print / on-air media based on conceptual content; working with various departments, including programming, creative services, news, sales, and promotion; plans and coordinates all aspects of sales promotional production; plans, coordinates and executes client promotional events; works closely with station webmaster on web-based promotions, developing incremental revenue; researches, develops, and implements marketing strategies to generate new and increased revenue for the station, using Scarborough, CMR, TVB, etc. High school graduate. College degree preferred. Experience in sales promotion, event planning and execution. Broadcast sales experience to company decision-makers is a definite plus. Skills: sales, creativity, presentation, PowerPoint and excellent organizational skills required.
