WEB/CONTENT MANAGER

The ideal web manager will be a high-level conceptual administrator
with ample television experience who understands Internet technology
and will contribute through providing hands-on development of the
station’s website.

The successful candidate must be able to openly communicate within
the newsroom as well as all departments heads so the online efforts
are clearly understood throughout the station.

Strongly preferred experience would include:

3-5 years in journalism, including producing newscasts and at least 2
years of online news experience.

Understanding of TV online promotions and marketing, and online
sales.

Necessary skills/Traits:

Strong writing skills and knowledge of AP style. Ability to work
under tight and changing deadlines. Self starter, detail oriented,
multi-tasking, flexible.

Beneficial knowledge:

Photoshop and Flash skills, Design and web production (HTML) a plus
but not required.
