WBBJ is seeking a full-time Sports Director. The person who fills
this position will serve as the primary Anchor/Reporter/Photographer
who will be responsible for anchoring weekday sports and reporting on
major sports events. You must be able to shoot and edit DVC PRO. You
will work alone as a one-man-band, most of the time. But, you will
also have the opportunity to work with photographers, and do live
shots on a regular basis. You will work closely with the Weekend
Sports Anchor/Reporter/Photographer to manage schedules and
assignments.

Local sports are our top concern. During high school football season
we produce a standout Friday Night football show with highlights from
across our region. We are the home of the Seattle Mariners AA farm
team, the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx. Additionally, we also cover
the Tennessee Vols and the NFL`s Tennessee Titans.

This is a great opportunity to join a strong, aggressive team and
establish yourself in a market that competes directly with Memphis
and Nashville stations daily. This position must be filled
