KSBY-TV, the market-leading NBC affiliate on California’s Central
Coast seeks a creative and driven Executive Producer to help take our
news product to the next level.

Responsibilities include overseeing the content and quality of our
daily newscasts, coaching and motivating staff of producers and
reporters, working with the News Director on department strategy and
hiring decisions, participating in editorial meetings, generating
story ideas, coordinating schedules and producing newscasts on a
fill-in basis.

Qualifications include a minimum of three years experience producing
a daily newscast, proven ability to produce dynamic, fast-paced shows
that emphasize live shots, breaking news and stories that provide real
viewer benefit. Sound editorial judgment, leadership abilities, and
impeccable writing skills are a must. A four-year college degree is
required.
