I'm not surprised by "78 percent of all viewers in DVR households who watch recorded broadcast primetime shows play them back within two days and 84 percent in three days" -- you know it's on ... you just couldn't be home to see it. Lots of stuff in my TiVo Season Pass is stuff I watch within an hour after it is recorded -- you just gotta skip the deadly stupid ads! So you know, you get home and say, "Hm, 'House' started 10 minutes ago. I'll make some dinner first and then watch it."

I have to time shift The Office so I can hit pause after Dwight says something "we should make the robot two-thirds size so it can be easily controlled when it turns on us". so I can stop laughing before I go on. Great show! It's a little too close to reality sometimes.

well sure.. it's on at the same time as Survivor...reality competition series has to take priority. i pity those homes without DVR's that have to actually choose.

i wonder what the time shifting people are watching when the Office is on live...that would be interesting.
