CBS Detroit and The CW50 Detroit are seeking a Web Sales Account
Executive to develop and sell new business opportunities as we
increase our new media sales efforts. The Web Sales Account Executive
is responsible for generating advertising sales revenue for the
Detroit Duopoly Stations, WWJ TV (cbsdetroit.com) and WKBD TV
(cw50detroit.com). The Web Sales Account Executive will also work
with the duopoly sales teams to maximize crossover sales
opportunities on the websites for both stations.

Qualified candidates must have a successful track record of managing
agency/client Digital Sales relationships; growing online ad sales
revenue; and prospecting and closing new business. Should also be
able to coach local sales staffs on the most effective ways to use
the local websites to develop opportunistic revenue-generating
programs and include online components with TV deals. Must be able
to interface with web producers to insure customer fulfillment.
Excellent presentation skills and a team approach to generating
results a must. Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years
cross media sales experience, including interactive and traditional
media.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

- BS / BA degree preferred.

- Dedicated and driven work ethic, excellent writing skills,
comfortable making presentations to all size groups (5-50),
outstanding computer skills.
