Layoffs at Dateline NBC

The first wave of layoffs from NBCU 2.0 has come to Dateline NBC, and at least 17 staffers have received pink slips. That doesn’t count others who have accepted buyout offers. Meanwhile, NBC News is expected to complete all of its layoff announcements for 2006 by next week.
