Video: ‘Lessons from the Lost Remote Guys’
Steve Safran November 13th, 2006
Stephen Warley and I have put together this presentation for you, based upon the one we did at Streaming Media West. It is not a video of the presentation, but rather a unique version of it with more examples. It’s 26 minutes long, so feel free to download and watch in segments. (Google Video allows downloads.) Comments are welcome.

Loved it.
I’ve never seen a presentation reimagined for the web like this before.
I really liked it.
Blogged it too.
Nice job.

Brilliant! I’ve been watching for a while to see new forms of media like this emerge. It’s so much better than a PPT presentation or video of a live presentation. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!
Thanks

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Also, let us know how we can keep making ‘em better!

So how would a guy re-purpose, mash-up with attribution, specific segments of the video? I’m assuming you guys would be alright with that!

Go for it. Since we show examples of video, I think using us as an example is fair game.

Hey Safran, looks great, how long did it take you to edit that?

Probably 20 hours total, but I was discovering 3-4 tools along the way. Figure an hour per minute for the stills, less for when I was just dropping in pre-produced video.

Guys,
Great presentation. However, it’s a real shame that it’s totally blurry the whole time. But great presentation.
