		<description>Reality Check.  Congdon says her she would like her work for ABC NEWS to have "a certain amount of integrity" (Q&#38;A with BusWeek).  Got it.  Wouldn't want TOO MUCH of that old-fashioned integrity stuff.

And she's thrilled that at ABC NEWS she'll have "people" to make sure her facts are, well, facts.   

Amanda is a unique talent.  What she does is great.  So is Jon Stewart.  So is Colbert. But none  of them are "news analysts," and at least the gang at Comedy Central have the wisdom and wit not to pretend otherwise. 

Amanda, on the other hand, is someone who imagines herself  "covering" stories ... going "in depth" ... someone ABC NEWS intends to put on televisioon with "news analysis" ...  someone ABC NEWS says it would "love to see ... talking to [Illinois Senator] Barack Obama."

This is where news organizations begin losing sight of who, and what, they are - or, in this case, who and what they used to be.</description>
