I agree with Colleen Lyons, Fox is crazy and out of their minds for airing such a piece of crap. I will not watch FOX T.V any more either. The Brown Family and Goldmans have suffered enough. Bye Bye Fox and I will make sure my friends do not watch your station. I guess money talks and bull walks. Well I rather walk.

Anonymouse is right: This isn’t censorship, and the stations that are refusing the air the program are not “brethren of the cowards” who pulled shows out of concerns of fines from the FCC. In fact, as far as I can tell, the FCC likely isn’t even a consideration.

Also, trying to compare the OJ special to a program about one of the darkest days in American history is absurd. There’s a massive difference between the two.

Censorship? How about this: It’s our station and we air what we want. We don’t want to air this offensive piece of crap. It’s only censorship if someone else is telling us we can’t air it.

Censorship by any other name is just that - censorship. These stations are the brethren of the cowards who pulled reruns of “Saving Private Ryan” and “9/11″ because of unfounded fears of FCC fines, or those stations in the South who refused to clear network TV coverage of the civil rights movement back in the day. Why not, as the San Diego affiliate plans to do, allow opposing viewpoints an opportunity to be heard instead of caving in to an organized campaign to determine your local programming decisons? One could argue that local stations have a right or responsibility to regulate their program content according to community standards, but the flipside of that argument is that the more leverage you give to a vocal minority, the less opportunity your stations have to permit expression of controversial viewpoints in the future.

I CANNOT FIND THE WORDS TO EXPLAIN HOW SICK TO MY STOMACH I AM OVER THE IDEA “FOX” IS GOING TO AIR ANYTHING THAT MONSTER HAS TO SAY!!! I HAVE BEEN WATCHING FOX FOR YEARS AND I CAN SAY FOR CERTAIN THAT I NEVER WILL AGAIN WATCH ANYTHING AGAIN, IF THEY GO AHEAD AND AIR WHATEVER THAT PIECE OF GARBAGE HAS TO SAY.

THE BROWNS AND THE GOLDMANS HAVE HAD ENOUGH PAIN AND SORROW AND TO THINK THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT THIS CRAP IS HORRENDOUS
