Internet Account Executive for WINK TV (Ft Myers Florida)

This position offers a tremendous opportunity to help develop and
grow the interactive division of WINK TV

OVERVIEW

Job : Internet Media Sales
This is a full time position
Date Available: December 1, 2006
Application Deadline: Open until filled.

DUTIES

~Generate online sales revenue utilizing all available sales tool and
services, responsible for growing revenue from existing clients and
generating revenue from new clients via daily on-site client
presentations

~Regularly prospect, develop new online business

~Maintain contact with local agency list and seek new agency
business. Call on and service local direct accounts and seek new
direct business

~Maintain, service and up-sell repeat accounts

~Work with WINK TV sales reps and research personnel on various sales
and marketing projects

~Maintain working knowledge of internet opportunities, the media
market and industry trends

~Understand and follow required sales policies meeting revenue goals
established by management

QUALIFICATIONS

~Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or
related field

~Two years media prospecting sales experience. Internet sales
experience preferred

~Familiarity with internet terminology and standard web metrics

~Ability to think creatively with ability to focus on short-term
objectives and long-term growth

~Strong oral/written communications skills, proven presentation
ability

~Ability to exercise good business judgment while providing
results-oriented solutions to potential advertisers

~Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint-Detail oriented self
motivated team player

~Skillful negotiator capable of analysis and manipulation of
statistical data

~Ability to drive a vehicle (with valid Florida State driver’s
license)

~Ability to read and communicate clearly

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

~Will work closely with administrative personnel to ensure that all
creative assets are collected prior to running campaigns

~Able to work effectively with others in a fast-paced internet sales
environment

~Ability to work in high-pressure internet sales environment
