Ad Services Manager-Mendota Heights, MN, Req# 111-06

Position Statement:

This position is responsible for managing and setting direction for
ad traffic operations of a 70+ site internet company.

Essential Functions:

· Manage business relationship with DoubleClick.

· Provide day-to-day direction including managing priorities for the
IB traffic team.

· Articulate intricacies of ad serving to Sales team and executives
in non-technical terms.

· Develop creative solutions for meeting the ad serving needs of the
company, including being responsive to the needs of the sales
organization.

· Define long-term IB strategy while providing leadership on new
frontiers of internet ad serving.

· Identify new ad serving opportunities and processes to incorporate
into ad scheduling process.

· Work with Ad Traffic Supervisor to maintain an efficient, high
level of accuracy with ad scheduling.

· Develop process to be able to accurately monitor client ad
delivery as specified.

· Assist in scheduling ad campaigns, as needed.

Qualifications & Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Required:

· BA or BS in Advertising, technology or other applicable field
required.

· 5-7 years prior Internet ad trafficking experience, including a
thorough understanding of an Internet ad serving business model.

· Must have deep knowledge of DoubleClick’s Dart ad serving
system.

· Must demonstrate an understanding of Internet Ad Serving
technologies including methods used by 3rd party ad
servers.(i.e.,eyeblaster, etc….)

· 3-5 years of prior supervisory/employee management experience
required.

· Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Flash, video, etc.

· Outstanding relationship building skills with the ability to
create mutually beneficial relationships with both internal and
external clients is critical.

· Ability to be a team leader and facilitate brainstorming

· Must have good communication skills, with the ability to
articulate ad serving concepts to people with varying degrees of
technology knowledge.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2000 applications.

· Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and
requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven
environment.

· Well organized with a high attention to detail.

· Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, environment with frequent
interruptions.

· Prior experience working within a technology organization,
preferably an Internet company.

· Strong knowledge and familiarity with the Internet.

· Must have the ability to remain calm and steadfast during high
stress situations

· Excellent ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
