Affiliate Manager, Req # NBC 32-06

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for managing the relationships with TV
station affiliates and select partners to successfully build and
maintain mutually beneficial online initiatives. This position will
direct and oversee a team of coordinators to ensure successful
station production integration as well as sales and content workflow.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Manage the project relationship with over 200 TV station
affiliates and select partners according to core business objectives.

· Develop comprehensive process and content plans, production
schedules, sales structures, and promotional strategies.

· Build upon an affiliate support system to ensure the utmost client
and partner satisfaction.

· Work with partners to create and roll-out new online initiatives.

· Work in conjunction with the Internet Broadcasting and NBC to
develop and build affiliate relationships to increase site product
offerings, traffic, and revenue.

· Train and mentor support team on all new offerings, processes and
initiatives.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:

· Extensive project management / account management experience.
· Strong techical aptitude.
· Web production experience.
· Strong familiarity with Internet sales.
· Familiaity with TV stations.
· Very organized.
· 2-3 years management experience.
