TV Productions Editor/Photographer: Req #107-06

JOB SUMMARY:

The TV Productions Editor/Photographer is responsible for ensuring
that high-quality TV promo and Editorial campaigns are shot and
edited in a timely and professional manner. This person must work
with the TV Productions team, Sales Support, Editorial and clients to
complete these tasks. This person must be a seasoned professional with
a creative eye. Applicants must be able to give promos a high-end
finished look while meeting all deadlines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 Take graphic and video elements and edit into high-end promos
using Final Cut, Adobe AfterEffects and Motion software.

 Ability to shoot and light on location. Field production a must.

 Must have tremendous creative vision and composition skills and
execute with a clear understanding of TV Production goals and
objectives.

 Work within the Television Production Tracking system to keep TV
Productions projects updated on the status of campaigns.

 Work with TV Productions, sales support, productions, Editorial
and/or clients to collect required campaign elements.
 Send completed work out to TV Producers, Sales Support,
Editorial and/or clients for approval. Communicate revisions to TV
Productions team.

 Set expectations on delivery of promos and convey problems to TV
Productions team.

 Ensure that all details of promos are executed on time.

 Compile creative elements for IB sales force for presentations.

 Produce Promos/Stories from storyboard to post production.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:

 Skill with interpersonal relationships and ability to
effectively interact with all levels of staff and outside contacts.
Desire to work within a team environment.

 Possess a passion for Television Production along with a drive
to learn more.

 Skill in organizing and prioritizing of work, and following
assignments through to completion.

 Ability to work well under pressure with deadlines — sense of
urgency.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced TV Productions environment with
a variety of personalities and work styles.

 Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant
change.
