The Wii remote is nearly perfect, ergonomically. It is amazingly comfortable and offers a secure grip. The only things that could improve it would be rubberized/texturized surfaces and a thicker wrist strap. Nintendo is implementing the latter and there are rubber sleeves that offer the former. 

I think the entire issue is blown out of proportion. There are only a few documented cases and undoubtedly some of those are fake.</description>
