RTNDA to Launch New Website
The digital revolution is accelerating the pace of change each and every day in broadcast newsrooms across America. To help executives and frontline journalists better manage that change, RTNDA is developing a new website to provide on-demand networking opportunities, career development services and best practices resources for journalism.
We are looking to both nonmembers and RTNDA members for help and guidance as we develop these new web services. During the next few months we hope you will be able to make a contribution in some of these different ways:
- Submit suggestions as to the type of online services, content and resources you believe would be most useful to today’s digital journalists.
- Contribute content to the RTNDA site by submitting articles, video and audio examples, or links to online resources.
- Produce online video or text tutorials or even your own blog to showcase your area of expertise.
- Reach out to potential new members who will find value in the new RTNDA web services created to help them develop their careers in journalism.
Your contribution will help thousands of journalists better understand the production, ethical, legal, technological and business challenges ushered in by the digital revolution now sweeping through media.
Please let us know how you would like to contribute to the development of RTNDA’s website initiative. At the very least, we would appreciate your feedback as to which services you believe should be the top priority as we develop your new RTNDA website. Should you decide to make a contribution, RTNDA would like to offer you a 30% discount on an annual membership. Contact Mike Song at 202.467.5217 or mikes@rtndf.org.
