Jakob Nielsen has updated his annual list of the top mistakes in web design, and I can’t agree more with the top item on the list, bad search. Here’s all ten.

Hmmm, he forgot the Flash intros (or for that matter, creating an entire site in Flash when unecessary).

Amen, and that was on his 2005 list. (Link is at bottom of 2006 list.) I think it’s interesting that companies that “specialize” in selling Flash templates still include an intro and thumpy background music.
