Visible World is currently seeking a Vice President, Sales. The Vice
President of Sales will grow and build a world class sales
consultative sales organization delivering Visible World’s innovative
video advertising products and services in the television advertising
and media marketplace. He or she will be responsible for executing
its overall sales strategy and managing in a high growth environment
In addition to leading and managing Visible Worlds sales force, the
VP also will be directly involved in negotiating and arranging
high-level strategic and contractual relationships with large
advertisers and their agencies. It is imperative that this individual
have an understanding of the media and television advertising market,
and its underlying production and delivery technologies. The VP will
provide the leadership, planning and managerial control for all sales
activities to properly position Visible World to win. This role
requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and vision coupled with
sales leadership capability, business judgment, experience and
discipline.

industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead new business revenue growth of $10 million in revenue in 2007,
and growing to $100 MM by 2009
* Effectively build, grow and lead a successful sales organization
including hiring, coaching and motivating senior sales executives
* Be accountable to manage and optimize the sales cycle, build new
business in order to meet or exceed revenue budgets, and maintain
senior level relationships in the prospect and customer base
* Achieve sales objectives by using a consultative sales approach to
offer customers a new ASP software platform solution to help them
manage their video advertising
* Have full understanding of the company’s product and services,
including features, pricing, production, contracts, billing, sales
support and client services
* Act as the lead in coordinating information, preparing, producing
and presenting client sales presentations and RFP’s;negotiate
contracts that increase revenue and Visible World’s overall
industry footprint across multiple sales channels
* Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Account Management,
Operations and Engineering to deliver customer satisfaction and
exceed client expectations
* Build effective industry relationships and alliances to further the
aims of the organization
* Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and competition
* Strategize with senior leadership and staff to fully maximize
industry penetration and implement tactical plans to achieve
objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
A seasoned professional with 8+ years successful sales management
experience who has developed the strategy and overseen the build out
of a sales organization in a high growth environment
* Solid experience and understanding of the key drivers in the
television advertising business today
* A proactive self-starter who can also be part of a matrix
organization
* An outstanding manager with the ability to lead, motivate, and
direct the sales organization
* Proven track record meeting and exceeding revenue quota
* Experience selling advertising technology, CRM or related
advertising media solutions at the executive level (CMO, etc) to
Fortune 1000 accounts either individually or with a strategic partner
team
* Broad knowledge and relationships within the current advertiser
community
* Able to successfully close deals and negotiate contracts
* Able to identify problems, solve them (including collaborating with
others when necessary), act decisively and show good judgment
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as
well as high caliber presentation skills
* Strategic thinking and critical analysis skills coupled with
financial discipline
* The ability to sell conceptually and creatively but also to use
available research and statistical information when necessary
* Drive, ambition, and enthusiasm; someone who thrives on a challenge
and exceeds expectations
* Ability to contribute above and beyond the Sales function as part
of Visible World’s management team, helping set the company’s
vision and develop the overall go-to-market approach to ensure
profitable growth and long term success
EDUCATION:
A bachelors degree, and an MBA from a top business school is ideal
COMPENSATION:
Visible World intends to attract a superior and highly qualified Vice
President, Sales and is prepared to offer a highly competitive
compensation package including a base salary, performance incentive
and stock options.
