United States, continues to make aggressive moves to converge new and
traditional media through creative programming and advanced delivery
methods. Audio streams of more than 100 CBS RADIO stations are
currently available online, and a third of the Company’s stations are
broadcasting in HD digital radio. CBS RADIO also launched the world’s
first podcast programmed radio station, KYOURADIO, and offers more
than 100 regularly scheduled podcasts through its news and news/talk

We are seeking Content Managers for the following formats: Sports,
Talk and Music. The position, based in New York City, will report to
the Vice President of Operations, CBS Radio Digital Media Group.
Responsibilities:
The Content Manager will coordinate national content across the
network of websites and work with the stations on regional content.
In addition, the content manager will create standards and review
sites on a regular basis and monitor compliance, from layout to
actual content. This position will also review site activity and
make recommendations for improvement. Primary functions:
Manage content across a specific radio format (i.e. talk, sports,
music)
Work with station web producers to improve user experience
Train producers on Search Engine Optimization
Produce content to run across specified format sites
Monitor best practices across the format
Syndicate station produced content across the format
Work with other Content Managers on cross-format content syndication
Analyze site traffic patterns to identify trends
Requirements:
The hands-on requirements for this position will require outstanding
analytical and communication skills. This position will work very
closely with the local stations as well as vendors. Must be able to
work efficiently under tight deadlines. Travel may be required. This
is not a traditional 9-5 position. Evening, weekend and holiday work
may be required.
In-depth knowledge and interest in specific format.
Working knowledge of web-publishing technologies.
3 to 5 years of online content production experience.
Must be familiar with website analytics and traffic patterns.
Working knowledge of Photoshop.
Exceptional organizational skills and exhibit leadership qualities.
Local TV and/or radio experience preferred.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
