‘The N’ goes mobile for tweens

OMG, could there, like, be a better match? The N, MTV Network’s offering for “tweens” has a deal with Sprint to deliver video clips to cellphones. Tweens. Video. Cellphones. Good deal.

Makes me happy that none of my tween or teen kids has their own cellphone.

This will be interesting. We just had a focus group with college students. They pretty much bluntly stated that cell phone video is overrated, expensive, and a fad.
We’ll see if it skews younger. BTW - I’m in a medium market with little mass transit so that could be why cell phone video hasn’t caught on.

focus groups are part of the problem, i think.
and hussman, those trac phones are a great way to start kids off. i recall getting each of mine one when they were 6 and 8 years old and minutes were about 60 cents each.
they learned real fast about using the phone wisely and that holds true today some ten years later (with newer phones of course).
you might tell i’m proud of each of them for a variety of things. and this is one of them.

Just don’t let the Tweens hear you refer to them as Tweens, or you’ll lose them really fast.
