I currently have Comcast DVR and it is OK. But my Boyfriend has TIVO and I have to admit, the DVR interface is outstanding. It is so easy to use. Very simple and straightforward interface. I can't wait until it is offered up here in rochester, NY.

OK, please enlighten me. We've had the Comcast HD boxes with the built-in DVR on two of our setsf or over a year now. We have been quite happy with their performance and in using them with the on-screen Guide to set up single and series recordings.

What additional / improved features will we see if we upgrade to TIVO software? We have no experience with the TIVO brand DVR....

Thanks

Too bad Cox is going to wait until Summer 08 to even begin the LIMITED trial of TiVO on their DVR boxes (aka. the worst DVR boxes known to man). How did Comcast get so far out in front of Cox on this one?

Hallelujah and pass the mayo. Anything to get off the craptastic Motorola interface I've got now. How do I get on the beta test list??

I just hope the Moto cable boxes have the horsepower and stability to run TiVo software as smoothly as a real TiVo.
