Hearst-Argyle, Post-Newsweek, Meredith Broadcasting, The McGraw-Hill
Companies, Capitol Broadcasting Company, Scripps Howard, and
Telemundo Local.

Large Market Television Station Web Sites for 2005 by NBC10.com in
Philadelphia, PA.

Position Statement:

Guide and facilitate all editorial and promotions production requests
for partner group sites with respect to partner and company strategic
goals and priorities. Overall duties include managing editorial
production, assisting site Editors, Managing Editors and Content
Directors in implementing station initiatives and special projects,
troubleshooting and problem-solving site technical issues,
cultivating and maintaining a positive relationship with IB and
station staff and communicating issues and trends to Partner Director
and Content Director. The Web Producer reports directly to the
Partner Director.

Essential Functions:

· Receives production requests for site editorial and promotions
projects, verifies their completeness, collects necessary materials,
tasks to the necessary production resources and completes tasks by
deadline.

· Works closely with site Managing Editors and other station staff
to coordinate details for daily maintenance tasks, as well as larger
custom editorial projects.

· Manages daily site tasks according to partner and corporate
priorities and timelines while ensuring quality.

· Offers solutions and best practices and advises on promoting
station initiatives.

· Maintains excellent working relationships with assigned partner
group and station staff, including specific Internet Broadcasting
departments and third party companies.

· Escalates technical, content or communication issues as necessary.

· Works cooperatively with the Partner Sales Specialists to complete
projects that combine sales and editorial elements.

· Reports on the workflow of the partner group.

Qualifications & Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Required:

· Outstanding relationship building skills with the ability to
communicate professionally with internal and external
cross-functional teams is essential.

· Must be able to prioritize and manage simultaneous assignments
within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Effective use of analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong initiative and self-starting approach, and ability to
operate effectively in an organizational climate of rapid growth and
change are desirable.

· Must be well organized with a high attention to detail.

· Working knowledge of web technology and Microsoft Office software:
HTML or web design skills a plus.

· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three years of experience
preferably in communications, web content management or related field
is required.
