Google expands Adsense video test

Google has teamed up with Warner Music and Sony BMG to distribute music videos with embedded Adsense video ads. Web publishers who want to participate can select the video they want from various available channels, post it on their sites and get a cut of the ad revenue along with the content provider and Google, of course. It’s an extension of a test with MTV Networks last year, and Google said more content providers are coming soon. “Participating publishers range from small to large, and cut across many different types of content,” explains the Google Adsense blog (sounds like a syndication opportunity for TV sites.) The video ads are running in a four-week test now underway.
