I can feel for parents of this generation, though. Kids can basically advertise themselves and be accessed by anyone in the world with sites like MySpace and others; watch anything in the world, whether through Youtube or through less regulated arenas like Xtube or even BitTorrent; freely steal expensive software and media without clear guides from society about what's right and wrong; and basically do a lot of adult things that previous generations of kids couldn't do.

chris, make your own SUPERMAN label on a color printer at work and stick it on a jar of no-brand... the taste really doesn't matter to a tot, so long as they believe it's what their hero eats. better make a few labels just in case he REALLY digs the stuff!

years from now the two of you will have a great laugh too!

good luck.

My kids turn to the web for everything from movie trailers to old episodes of "Transformers" from the 80s.

One problem. While looking for Superman videos with my 3-year-old we found an old commercial for "Superman Peanut Butter." Now he wants some. Do they still make that stuff?
