Help to lead a new, dynamic team of online editors who seek to
maintain the highest level of editorial standards on PBS.org and
related digital services. The associate director/content manager
manages relationships and works collaboratively with key PBS program
series web site producers, stations, independent production companies
and partners to maximize the quality and impact of PBS’s
Internet-based content and services. Help to lead internal
cross-disciplinary teams to support site updates and launches,
including sharing strategic content plans, gathering feedback,
identifying and finding solutions to problems and managing
schedules. Evaluate site content prior to launch to ensure compliance
with PBS Editorial Standards and assist with the evaluation of content
proposals and budgets. Lead and participate in team and department
projects as well as new, forward-thinking initiatives anticipating
public media uses of new technology.
