Shoot videotape in field, newsroom and studio; collect information
and soundbites at scene of news or sports events; edit news stories
on deadline in the newsroom and in the field; operate
audio/video/microwave equipment for remotes; maintain assigned
equipment. Two years of experience as a photographer in the news
department of a commercial TV station is required. Candidates must
demonstrate skill in video tape photography and editing on deadline.
In addition they must have a strong interest in sports and be able to
work a flexible schedule. The ability to communicate clearly and deal
effectively with the public is a must. Candidates must also provide a
copy of their three-year MVR report.
