		<description>if you go to www.myspace.com/fox and watch some of there streaming "hidef" stuff is great quality and all you need is a dsl connection to not have to stop and buffer during an ep. so i agree but i think it will be sooner then 5 years.</description>

		<description>I live in Silicon Valley.  Mr. Gates, and others are famous four "...in the next five years".  They never seem to come to fruition.  The joke is that IPTV, or any other prediction, is in the future and always will be.</description>

		<description>i just read this over at thehuffingtonchannel where i left a comment.

i liked the basher's comment on how "poor quality" the feed via the net is and will always be compared to traditional tv. is this the route traditional tv people will use going forward?

if so, one might recall a post by terry heaton which mentioned a software app that monitored incoming video and "re-pixalated" it by analyzing frames before and after the faulty ones.

btw- my comment over there simply called into question mr. gates' notion that this might take "5 years". 

i'd say the 2008 election year $ bonaza is in play</description>
