Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Initiate outbound sales and prospecting calls to identify new
potential clients
Generate revenue through new account acquisition
Manage and maintain a detailed pipeline with the ability to forecast
new business
Flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment
Strategic thinking and planning
Ability to execute on a corporate sales strategy to close business
Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships
Energy and passion for growing a new media business
Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong appreciation for
teamwork
Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years of outbound sales / business development
experience
Demonstrated success selling in the Technology and/or Media
industries (online advertising, broadband video, web publishing
content distribution)
Strong understanding of the end to end sales process
Consistently meet or exceed aggressive sales goals and objectives
Be adept at cultivating, evaluating and negotiating commercial
agreements.
Ability to multitask and juggle multiple competing priorities
Creative selling skills and understanding of consultative selling
approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamically changing business
environment
Occasional travel, face-to-face client meetings, and tradeshows
BS/BA or equivalent required
Knowledge of CPM Sales models a plus
Knowledge of broadband video industry highly preferred
