i'd give it an A+.

only because all the planning was most likely based on 70 degrees and partly cloudy at game time.

they pulled it off in something similar to conditions in an aquarium.

Digg's Kevin Rose was seen in the Godaddy.com ads.....for a split second.

Those ads were kind of lame compared to years' past.

What else was missing from the game? Cheerleader shots! That's right, hardly saw any. That is the one thing that has always been a part of MNF telecasts.

Phil Simms never shuts up. Jim Nantz was his usual professional-self. Lots of facts and figures in that guy's head. He's a Dick Enberg in gentlemanly terms.

Joe Namath should have been on the field for the coin toss. After all, it was Miami and the Colts were on the field.

No mention of Shula coaching the Colts....when they were in Baltimore.

No sappy story on Bill Polian who was the Buffalo Bills' GM during their SB run.

And the kicker from the Colts' Super Bowl win against the Dolphins should have been there...........but not sure if that game was in Miami or New Orleans way back. Or, if he is still alive.

They need mics on the refs to let people listen to those huddles of theirs regarding calls.

Not too many over the field shots, using that cable cam, like you saw on Fox games during the playoffs. Maybe the rain had something to do with that.

Yeah, it rained, but I'd give CBS a C to a C+ on their broadcast.

What happened to Katie Couric's hair during the pre-game? Yikes.

Her stylist ought to be canned.

She also had a lot of Botox plopped into that forehead, tighter than the jerseys on the offensive lineman.

To promote their lagging morrning show, they should have had some personalities in the stands, interviewing people.

Is anyone going to watch Criminal Minds??? I never usally give these poorly produced CBS alzheimer's loving procedurals a chance. But it is big event television, post superbowl show ( grey's anatomy is the #1 drama now!). However the adds are kindof a turnoff... and yes there were wayyy to many CBS promos, I had no idea the last survivor even ended.. does anyone even watch that show anymore?

I too liked that E*Trade surprise (did it say US Bank in the background?) - haven't watched as attentively as the game goes on, but the FedEx one on names just now was a solid B, as was the Bud Light ax-wielding hitchhiker;-)

I actually thought that was one of the best SB halftime shows ever... clearly not lip syncing, and the rain made it look even more cool. I didn't even mind the Hendrix (Prince CAN play guitar, he's just kind of a freak).
